I don’t usually post my personal notes here, but I just got a big dose of inspiration for this project. Recently, I saw the new Star Wars movie, episode IX. This film really drove home to me how badly a big, corporate studio can damage a beloved franchise. (Also it did include some good bits of design that are worth salvaging as ideas, so it wasn’t a total waste.) Still, the experience has further convinced me that culture is better when it isn’t claimed as the private property of a media corporation but is freely available for the use and enjoyment of the public at large. That is why everything here is, and will remain under a Creative Commons license. (with an exception or two used with permission, and noted on their pages)
